30 days of Music : round-off

I don't see me properly finishing this. Mainly because I'm struggling to come up with answers for stuff. So I'm just going to rattle off what I can. I may come back for the 'No Idea' ones.

day 21 - a song that you listen to when you're happy

Far too changeable. Anything, everything. Most likely answer is whatever is currently my favourite song-de-jour. Which at the moment would likely be some Katzenjammer.

day 22 - a song that you listen to when you're sad

The album that immediately springs to mind is Tanita Tikaram's Eleven Kinds of Loneliness. The track being Elephant. In lieu of that you'll have to make do with this.

day 23 - a song that you want to play at your wedding

No idea.

day 24 - a song that you want to play at your funeral

No idea.

day 25 - a song that makes you laugh

Oh loads. However they're mostly wow-related stuff than actual mainstream stuff. So I'll cheat and do two for this. One mainstream, one WoW.

day 26 - a song that you can play on an instrument

Seeing as I got grade 8 clarinet and about grade4/5 level piano back in my teens there'd probably quite a few classical pieces I at least should be able to manage. However, the last piece I did actually play was a simplified version of this:

day 27 - a song that you wish you could play

I'd love to be able to play Jazz. But I was never good at practising my scales and arpeggios and can't extemporise. I can barely play without music unless it's something I've done a lot. But one thing I'd really like to be able to play is this, for the intro really.

day 28 - a song that makes you feel guilty

No idea.

day 29 - a song from your childhood

This is one track I remember getting a lot of play time in the car when we were travelling to and from holidays stuck in traffic jams.

day 30 - your favorite song at this time last year

Slightly odd one this as it's an instrumental version. A friend recommended the instrumental version of this album as a good one to code to and he was dead right.

Phew. Here is the whole list.
